A Worldwide Communion
The Anglican Communion is a global family of churches, made up of 42 provinces across more than 165 countries. The Anglican Communion Office (ACO) is the permanent secretariat that serves this Communion.
We work to connect, convene, and serve Anglicans worldwide, assisting the Instruments of Communion and enabling member churches to fulfil their mission.
The Communion is 42 autonomous Member Churches, also known as Provinces, from around the world.
Together, these churches serve communities and proclaim the Good News in more than 165 countries.
Our common life is guided by the Five Marks of Mission, which call us to respond to the needs of the world.
